COVID-19 Notice

It is with great sadness but we must announce the temporary closure of Stonehaven Sea Safari. COVID-19 and the government’s recent advice and restrictions on travel and social contact made the decision inevitable. We have a responsibility and duty of care to you our customers, our friends and people who work with us and the close community in which we all live.  We are determined to re-open as soon as possible and we will review weekly.

All our boats are ready for the season and our on line booking will be available as soon as we are able to safely operate. Our staff have worked hard to make sure we are ready to go and are looking forward to seeing you in Stonehaven soon.

To our customers old and potential, please keep safe.  We will be contacting all our customers who have bookings with us explaining refund or re-scheduling options.

Come aboard our brand new RIB and join us on an enthralling trip which takes in the famous Dunnottar Castle.

After leaving the harbour you will head out past Downie Point before heading south towards Strathlethan Bay and Bowdun Head before rounding the corner to be met with the famous ruin of Dunnottar Castle.

Steeped in history dating back to the 15th century, Dunnottar Castle is a bustling tourist attraction and our tour allows the opportunity to capture this stunning landmark from the sea, a view that’s not often seen by visitors to the area.

Our guides onboard will describe the history and tales of the castle and there will be opportunities to take photographs of the iconic landmark.

The tour will continue south along the coast before turning to head back out past Stonehaven Bay and North towards Skattie Shore & Garron Point before returning back into stunning Stonehaven Harbour.

Duration:  45 minutes approx.

Cost: £20 per adult / £18 concession
