Frequently Asked Questions

Booking in advance is highly recommended. We may have spaces available on the day but as we can only take 12 passengers at a time we expect demand to be high.

Please ensure you arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time in order to get kitted out.

Due to the nature of our trips we cannot accept any wheelchairs or mobility aids on board and steps are the only way to access our boat. If you are unsure if this will be suitable please check with us before booking.

Unfortunately, you can’t take your pets onboard, we find that your furry friends are happier on dry land.

There are public toilets nearby in the harbour area. We do not have any toilet facilities onsite.

There is a car park within the harbour area however this is often very busy as is the surrounding areas especially during the summer months.

That depends on how well behaved you are 😉 We will provide suits for you to wear over your clothes to protect you from the Scottish elements.

We would recommend dressing warmly as temperatures can get quite cold at sea even on a sunny day. Gloves and hats are also advisable if you are joining us on a chilly day. Trainers or other non-slip footwear are recommended – No high heels are allowed.

We cannot allow you to take food onboard. Likewise, no alcohol will be permitted.

Children need to be able to sit on our seats with both feet touching the ground. We require a minimum inside leg of 21 inches. Estimated age 8+ but provided they meet the requirements they are welcome onboard. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Life vests are provided and must be worn at all times.

Occasionally we may have to cancel your tour. Passenger enjoyment and safety are our biggest concern and if we feel the weather or sea conditions are unsuitable, we will cancel the sailing. If this happens, we will try to re-schedule your booking or you will be offered a full refund.
